Our sailing vessel for the Bahamas will be a 65ft sloop called the Morning Star. The Morning Star is owned and operated by Blackbeard Cruises. Blackbeard Cruises has been providing safe and extraordinary diving and sailing adventures in the Bahamas for the last 30 years. They have a wonderful history, and we are excited to be working with them. Below is a description of the Morning Star and her sister vessels.
The Morning Star and her sister vessels were all built to meet SOLAS requirements. Each vessel is constructed with 18,000 lbs of lead in the bottom and a 6” keel, which makes the boats extremely stable. The vessels also contain 5 watertight compartments which allows the boat to remain safe in the absolute worst winter storms.
